Prince Ilya RSH (Prince Optimus/One of the Lee's xxIlya is a chestnut 2003 Oldenburg gelding. Ilya is one of the most fun and safe 3 year olds I have ever ridden. Ilya was started by Patricia Roberts, and has had proper dressage training the summer of 2006 with Judith and Ingrid Hackler, and now I am riding him and having a blast. Ilya has a sweet, kind personality and is well started under saddle, with 3 good gaits, a super natural rhythm and a forward thinking attitude without being quick. Ilya has great ground manners, loads and hauls readily and has an in your pocket personality, first up at the gate and eager for attention. He has a super attitude, work ethic and willingness in the ring and is safe and great fun on the trails. He is sound and healthy with all preventative maintenance done, including dental and farrier care. Ilya is ready for schooling shows now, and is amateur and child friendly. Ilya has quite a presence under saddle and is a bright chestnut with lots of chrome and a tendency to roan.
